Power Movement Project Reunion Show! | Annapolis Band Photography

My husband’s band, Power Movement Project, decided to get together for an awesome reunion show!  They played together for about 6 years.  They moved to Florida, toured, and eventually decided to stop playing shows since everyone was getting older, married, having babies, you know… life.    They have a huge following in the Annapolis area and thought it would be great to play another show.  Two members even flew in from California.  They got a HUGE response and tickets sold out a week before the show. Plus as an added bonus, my brother opened up for them.  It was at the Whiskey in Annapolis, MD.  They even made it on the front page of the Capital and the Bay Weekly!  The night was a blast…just like old times.   Naturally I grabbed tons of pictures.  Here are a few!

    hey,

My name is Cole and I was at the Power Movement Project show at the Whisky just a few weeks back. I had come out to the show because my cousin (Sean Sipple) used to go to high school with all of them. I am from Walnut Creek, CA. which is 25 minutes from SF so on my vacation, Sean and his wife bought us tickets to this event. I have to say I had a BLAST! It was such a great show! The people were awesome, the bar was awesome, but the music was pure motivation! All the words, all the instruments, all the people and voices, purely amazing! I was even lucky enough to be “that guy” who grabbed the CD when the lead singer (Brook?) threw it out more towards the end of the night. I got back home that next day to CA, put it in my CD player, and it hasnt come out since.

It is a shame that PMP didnt make it big time. My cousin was the drummer for Jimmies Chicken Shack for a while but as we know they didnt make it that long either. It is a bummer because I really like this music and I think this style is something that is very Baltimore/Annapolis native. You dont see music styles like this coming from anywhere else but there!

Anyway, sorry for the long rant. I really REALLY liked the show and my GF did too! We had a great time so tell anyone who you know from the band good job from California!

Do you know where I can find the video from the cameras that were filming this reunion show? I really want to show my friends. Thanks for your time!
