I recently decided to try and expand my photography in the newborn/baby category.  I’ve worked with kids a lot, they are so much fun to capture on camera.  You’ll never get a truer shot, then when working with a child…they don’t hold back!  But working with a newborn is different.  They are soo fragile, small, and innocent.  And being able to capture those very first moments in a baby’s life is really special for the parents, and for me!  Recently, my good friends Lisa and Shawn had their third child, CJ.  They have two beautiful daughters, and this is their first son. Very exciting!  I was grateful to be able to do his newborn photos.   I know newborns can be tricky to work with because they best shots usually happen when they are asleep…so getting them to sleep is the tricky part 🙂   CJ was a natural.  Here are some of the shots.
