Nora got her Masters! I was so happy to be able to photograph Nora and her sweet family after she received her Masters Degree from Bowie State University. Her sons and husband were so happy for her. What a great day!
Congratulations, Nora!

It was a beautiful day for Cari & Mark to celebrate their wedding. They had their first look at Cari’s parents house. The weather was just perfect for an October outdoor ceremony and Renditions golf course had some beautiful spots for photos. These two have awesome families and everyone had a great day, even despite the Redskins/Eagles situation 🙂 They both radiated happiness all day!

This wedding was so special for me to be a part of as I have known Lauren for a long time. We met when we worked together at a Baltimore TV station and have been friends ever since! Lauren has always had an awesome fashion sense and this wedding attire did not disappoint! She came out in a stunning GOLD dress and was absolutely radiant all night long. Chris didn’t look bad either 😉
This couple is all Baltimore! The day began at the Sagamore Pendry (awesome) and continued at Rye Street Tavern – all in the heart of Baltimore. Everything was beautiful. The end of the night went out with a bang as Lauren came out in a sequin jumpsuit that showed off her perfectly toned..everything! Here’s to many more years of fun, Lauren and Chris!!

I photograph a lot of people…adults, children, families, weddings, newborns…and pets. They are all a lot of fun, but not all of them can pay attention or remember to look at the camera (particularly the toddlers and the pets, haha!)
When Jamie brought her dogs, Belle and Bentley, to the shoot, I was so excited because I love animals. These dogs were the best listeners. They looked RIGHT at the camera every time. They weren’t nervous, or fidgety. They were just adorable and their eyes are fantastic! This was seriously one of the easiest sessions I’ve had…with or without pets!
“We have two dogs: a wild-boar, dapple dachshund, named Bentley, and a Chiweenie(Chihuahua/Dachshund) named Belle. They definitely got Bentley’s breed right when they said wild boar because he is definitely our wild child. Belle, on the other hand, is our mellow fur baby so we’ve got a good mix of personality for sure! Stephen gave me Bentley for our second wedding anniversary…best present ever!!! We rescued Belle while visiting with my uncle for Thanksgiving in Fall 2016. We heard about a little puppy that had been abandoned in a trailer and of course I had to investigate. About an hour later, I was driving away with my sweet little Belle. Stephen keeps telling me we better own a farm one day because he knows I’m going to keep coming home with stray pets. A farm full of dogs sounds like absolute heaven to me! Dogs are just the best! “If the kindest of souls were rewarded the longest of lives, dogs would outlive us all.” I absolutely love this quote. Dogs are the most selfless, loving creatures on the planet. Life would be so boring and sad without dogs. We just recently moved to Florida from Maryland where Stephen was stationed in the Army. Stephen traveled a lot while in Maryland, so Bentley and Belle were great companions for me in that time. Bentley and Belle are loving the Florida sunshine and so are we! Stephen and I have been happily married for a little over 3 years now. We have known each other since grade school, so we enjoyed a long friendship before we finally decided to tie the knot. We are both from a tiny town in south Alabama, so we are so blessed to live closer to family where we are now. Life is good!”
Right now in Maryland it is March…and it is snowing. I mean I am looking out my window at about 7 inches of freezing. cold. snow.
SO since I am sitting here dreaming of the beach days, I decided I would blog one of my favorite sessions from the beach this past summer.
I knew Katie way back in elementary school. I haven’t seen her since then, but thanks to Facebook we reconnected and she asked me to take her family’s photos. It is really cool to see someone after so long and see the great life they have created, kids, husband, and all.
